Star Anise Pods for Protection, Luck, and Psychic Awareness

Star Anise is associated with protection, psychic awareness, and luck.

It is said to ward off the evil eye and unwanted influences, and can be carried as a charm for safety and good fortune. The star-shaped pods are considered powerful symbols of protection, with their eight points linked to balance and guidance.

In some traditions, star anise has been used to heighten psychic ability and aid in divination. It is sometimes burned as incense before readings or placed on the altar to invite clarity and spiritual insight.

I‘ve personally coated a star in ritual oils and wrapped in a colored cloth carried in my pocket as a charm.
